GETTING STARTED

If you would like assistance with starting or enhancing your School Transportation Options Program (TOP), please complete the short application below. The information you provide should describe the transportation-related challenge(s) your school is facing and explain how the School Transportation Options Program sponsorship funds can help address those challenges.

Your school can apply for an annual sponsorship of up to $2,000 to help address transportation challenges. There is no match requirement. The funds can be used to fully cover the costs of relatively small projects/tasks or be used as partial funding for a larger project. We expect sponsorships to be awarded to schools that best demonstrate how this sponsorship can be used to promote safe carpooling, biking, walking, scootering, skating, etc.

4. Provide an aerial map/photo ( zoomed-in preferably) identifying the car line(s)as well as pick-up and drop-off locations. Differentiate between arrival and dismissal car line(s) by using separate maps (if applicable) (See Example).

10. Provide an aerial map/photo showing where sidewalks and bicycle lanes DO NOT EXIST within a mile radius of the school. Use different colors to show sidewalks and bicycle lanes. Be sure to indicate which side of the roadways the sidewalks and bicycle lanes. (See Example)
